We will be at PlantFest this year as a sponsor, speaker and workshop hosts.
Morgan will be there both days.
On Friday she will be a panelist for the Jobs with Native Plants at 2:30pm.
On Saturday at 2:30pm she is co-hosting an informational workshop with Project Learning Tree Utah/Wasatch Mountain Institute. PLT activites are scheduled for the entire hour.
On Sunday, we are co-hosting an Educator’s Workshop with PLT in South Salt Lake. Keep an eye out for our post later this week with the details (or come to the Saturday PLT PlantFest session).
Attendance is completely free, but please register! It helps UNPS apply for grants and receive funding for future education events.
There is one live webinar CEU opportunity this week. In-person attendees for the PlantFest can self-report for ISA CEUs.

Education and Impact through Community Groups, TREE Fund Education Grants @11am Mountain
Western Land Conservancy in Ohio will present their education program, “Western Reserve Land Conservancy’s Tree Steward Training Program” at their Ohio campus where they graduated 39 Tree Stewards to be caretakers of trees and related projects.
Cornell Cooperation Extension in New York will present their education program, “Urban Tree Equity Education and Outreach” from 2025-2026 where they engaged a wide range of people to educate and engage them in their surround urban forest.
