Hi folks,
We’re going to be presenting a mini-workshop at the 2026 New Mexico Outdoor Learning Summit in Albuquerque.
Our 45 minute session will briefly cover the Project Learning Tree curriculum and share a sensory-friendly activity (“The Closer You Look”) that blends nature immersion techniques tailored for outdoor learners of all ages.
Example classroom materials and resources will be shared, including directly from the curriculum. We will also be exploring alternative methods/scaffolding including access to the outdoors, classroom size and more.
The “Ecological Partnership” mini-workshop is during Workshop Session 3, from 1:40pm-2:25pm. We will be spending at least 30 minutes outdoors, so please prepare accordingly.
